Seven Eighths, leading SAM and SW Compliance company, with a World Best Practice history and key Oracle worldwide partner for License Reviews, is seeking a self-starter and result driven Sales representative to lead our sales activity in Germany.
POSITION SUMMARY
The candidate will be personally involved in all sales operations, driving them to success. The role also includes the definition and articulation of the overall sales strategy in Germany, ensuring the Business Unit’s sales plans and the achievement of quarterly activation/revenue targets. In this role, the selected candidate is the prime responsible for achieving yearly and quarterly objectives. The candidate will work closely with the SW vendor’s local compliance & Sales teams in Germany and with our HQ back-office team (Madrid), which perform license audits and reviews and software asset management consultancy on behalf of SW vendors. The person will report to Seven Eighths’ Sales Leader. The position is base d in Germany.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate's main responsibilities include:
Maximizing the revenue stream with direct intervention in deals as well as in collaboration with local Oracle sales team:
Liaising with Oracle Sales Team
Effectively managing and closing the deals in the pipeline.
Controlling and maintaining the sales cycle SLA.
Ensuring that the agreed objectives with the license review are met whilst customer satisfaction is preserved
Achieve quarterly and yearly sales and margin objectives
Team-worker spirit, in driving the deals with both Oracle LMS & Sales teams
Develop and maintain appropriate relationships with key internal functional leaders to ensure full awareness of compliance & sales priorities and goals; promote a cooperative and pro-active engagement model between the given teams
Articulate Seven Eighths’ value proposition to promote higher levels of mindshare and executive sponsorship
Develop and communicate mid to long term compliance and sales strategies and key priorities to the vendor’s compliance and Sales teams; work with the vendor to identify and execute go-to-market tactical sales plans within the German market
Managing accurately weekly forecasts, whilst tracking and reporting all sales activities in the CRM
Other responsibilities:
Development into other SW vendors in the German market in the future
Build and maintain sales relationships with Seven Eighths’ existing vendor partners
Potential to grow/develop to manage a team of Sales Reps
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of 8 years of successful experience in sales in the software industry. We will value a candidate that has sold Oracle products in the past
Proven sales leadership and relationship building skills
Demonstrated capabilities to multi-task in a fast paced environment in both leadership and team roles.
A broad understanding of IT market technology trends Revenue targets assurance
Excellent skills in leading sales cycles and closings
Ability to present to a company´s IT Director, CIO, CFO, etc. as such
Ability to build effective relationships
Flexibility, responsiveness & change management oriented,
Result oriented and self-motivated with well-structured mind-set
Knowledge of German software multinational organizations is a plus
Command of spoken and written English is essential.
